I’ll try this again. My verification failed yesterday because of the way @tina packages my posts from this submit form. If i copy the text exactly as it appears in the astro post archive, then it verifies OK. This isn’t a great user experience. For text proofs, I need to adjust the algorithm for storing and validating hashes. I actually thought i was doing something like:
- take string
- remove all CR LF
- convert to lower case
- create hash
but it seems not. I’ll need to work on that. I also need to work on some fuzzy matching logic. bit level hash is too restrictive.
